2 Week Countdown Begins
I hope I can stick with this. I have doubts but I am drawing on the web for inspiration. There are so many examples of people who have pushed themselves and succeeded. I hope in time my own progress will be all the motivation I need. I don't like the idea of putting off the start date but feel it is the only way to track my status properly without any significant gaps between workouts. I am starting a new job in a new city and a new semester of college and crunching for a promotional exam all in the next 2 weeks. Time is an issue not an excuse. My other concern is the meal plan. I am convinced that the meals are critical to success and to not include them would be cheating myself of results. I am going to try to tackle this obstacle by picking a cooing day and preparing all the weeks meals and snacks so I can just grab my chow and go everyday and not have to think about that daily. I am going to try to beware of the dangers of a new social circles too. A few beers here and a few wings there and @#$*! I've blown a weeks worth of work. Focus is critical to succeed at all of these new endeavours. Time will not be a problem once I am settled. I am still doing some prep workouts now so that come crunch time I can skip down days due to soreness. Current injuries are a recovering strained back muscle somewhere under my left shoulder blade, a few painful joints (toe, ankle, knees), but other than that I am feeling pretty good. Gotta get the last details of this transition out of the way and then GET TO WORK! When I come back from DC on September 20 I will be 18 days into my regimen and I expect to see some results by then. Want to take all photos in the same location so will wait until September 2 to do that and take my measurments the same day. First scheduled workout is September 3.
